A confetti launcher can provide one quick party burst or a repeatable stage effect. Choose a reusable powered blower for controlled cues, or manual poppers when you want guests to trigger a short celebration together.
My top recommendation is the Chauvet DJ FunFetti Shot Confetti Launcher. Its wireless remote and DMX control make it the more useful choice for repeatable event cues.
For a smaller party, the Confetti Sky CS-12PC-MC 6-Pack Confetti Poppers is my budget pick. The six manual poppers need no power connection or separate controller.

The 5 Best Confetti Launchers (2026)
1. Chauvet DJ FunFetti Shot Confetti Launcher
Pros
- Wireless remote and DMX control
- Reusable blower needs no CO2 supply
- Works with compatible loose confetti
Cons
- Needs mains power and a clear launch area
The Chauvet DJ FunFetti Shot is my first choice for a reusable powered confetti effect. It blows loose confetti from a hopper, so you do not need to replace a compressed-air cartridge for each cue.
Use its display for local control, the supplied wireless controller for a simple remote cue, or one-channel DMX when it belongs in a lighting sequence. Those options suit a DJ or event operator who needs to stay away from the machine during a show.
The double-bracketed yoke allows the mounting arrangements described in the manual. Position and secure the machine correctly, leave a clear launch path and use compatible confetti. A manual popper is the simpler choice for one brief moment at a small party.
2. Confetti Sky CS-12PC-MC 6-Pack Confetti Poppers
Pros
- Six poppers in one pack
- Manual twist activation
- Sold with multicolor biodegradable confetti
Cons
- Each cannon provides one burst and cannot be refilled
The Confetti Sky CS-12PC-MC pack is my choice for a small celebration where several people will release confetti together. The six manual cannons give you six separate cues without cables, a DMX desk or a powered blower.
The pack contains multicolor confetti and is sold as biodegradable. That is a useful distinction from plastic glitter, but it does not remove the need to collect the material after an outdoor event.
Follow the instructions on each tube, allow room above the users and keep the launch direction away from faces. Choose this six-pack when six bursts cover the event; the TUR pack below provides more cannons for a larger group.
3. VEVOR LM-LEDCZJ1500 Confetti Launcher
Pros
- LED lighting built into the launcher
- Manual, remote and DMX512 control
- Adjustable launch angle
Cons
- Heavier and more involved to set up than manual cannons
The VEVOR LM-LEDCZJ1500 is an alternative powered blower for events where you want lighting around the confetti effect. This exact model combines a 1500W fan, integrated LEDs and manual, remote or DMX512 control.
VEVOR specifies an adjustable launch angle and a maximum confetti capacity of 0.5 kg, with a smaller recommended load of 0.25 kg. Its stated throw is up to five meters; the material, angle and space will affect the result.
Choose the VEVOR for the built-in LEDs and flexible cueing. I would still start with the Chauvet for a straightforward event blower. Plan a secure position, suitable power supply and cleanup before loading either machine.
4. TUR Party Supplies 12-Pack Confetti Cannons
Pros
- Twelve cannons for a group cue
- No mains power required
- Compact 12-inch tubes
Cons
- Single-use tubes leave more items to collect after the event
This TUR Party Supplies selection is the twelve-pack of 12-inch multicolor confetti cannons. That exact pack matters: a smaller quantity or another fill is a different purchase, even when the tube branding looks similar.
Twelve cannons suit a coordinated group cue or several short moments across an event. Each twist-operated tube releases its load once, rather than creating a sustained shower like a powered blower.
The current listing describes glitter multicolor fill. Check the venue rules for that material, especially outdoors, and collect it after use. Pick the six-pack above for a smaller celebration, or this pack when the extra individual bursts will actually be used.
5. Legend & Co. 12-Inch Multicolor Confetti Cannons
Pros
- Simple manual operation
- 12-inch multicolor version
- Easy to distribute among guests
Cons
- Not remotely triggered or reusable
The Legend & Co. selection is the 12-inch multicolor cannon version. It is another manual option for guests to trigger, with a brief burst rather than a continuous controlled effect.
Its role is a small celebration cue where portability matters more than programmable control. Read the exact pack contents when ordering: different quantities and colors should not be treated as the same variant.
I would choose it when this particular multicolor pack fits the occasion. The Confetti Sky six-pack is the clearer starting point for a small group, while the TUR twelve-pack suits a larger coordinated cue.
How Do You Choose a Confetti Launcher?
Start with the cue you need. Manual cannons suit one burst from each participant. A powered blower is useful when an operator needs repeatable control, but it requires power, placement and a supply of compatible loose confetti.
Check the venue ceiling, audience clearance, permitted fill materials and cleanup arrangements. A stated maximum throw is not a recommended distance from people. Follow the actual machine or pack instructions for its setup and operating distances.
Are Confetti Launchers Loud?
Compressed-air poppers release with a pop, while powered blowers have motor and airflow noise. Consider nearby guests, animals and the venue rules; do not assume either type is silent.
Is Biodegradable Confetti Suitable Outdoors?
Biodegradable paper can reduce persistent plastic litter, but it still needs collecting. Weather, the venue and the actual material matter. Obtain permission before using confetti outdoors and keep it out of drains and water.
Conclusion
The Chauvet DJ FunFetti Shot Confetti Launcher is my main choice for repeatable powered cues. The Confetti Sky CS-12PC-MC 6-Pack Confetti Poppers keeps a small celebration simpler, while the VEVOR adds integrated lighting to a powered setup.
